WHAT IS FLOORBALL?
It’s almost like hockey – just more fun!
Floorball is one of the fastest growing sports in Denmark – and for several years it has been very popular in Norway and Sweden under the name of “Innebandy”. Floorball is played all over the world. You might have played it in school as “hockey”, the game with the plastic stick and the plastic ball with holes.

Our members currently range from 6 to 55 years of age. With approx. 55 ladies and 80 men, and 30-40 youth players. We originate from all parts of the country and a few of us are from Sweden and Norway.
You’ll meet people with all kinds of different studies/jobs/careers. We have a reputation of being good at partying and having fun, but at the same time we train and play in the Danish national tournament.
It’s never to late if you want join Århus Floorball Klub. There’s always room for new players, officials, supporters etc. That goes for both experienced players and absolute beginners!

WHAT ABOUT EQUIPMENT?
To play you only need indoor shoes, shorts, a t-shirt, and a floorball stick. To begin with the club will provide a stick but eventually you’ll want to have your own.
They can be aquired for an amount ranging from 200 DKK to 1000 DKK. Around 300-500 DKK will be enough to get a decent floorball stick.
If you wish to be a goalkeeper we’ll provide the necessary equipment.
